Delegate Mamye BaCote Endorses Marcia Price for the House of Delegates

NEWPORT NEWS, VA -  In a statement released today, Delegate Mamye BaCote has announced her support for Marcia Price to serve in the House of Delegates and represent the people of Virginia's 95th District.   

“I have known and worked with Marcia Price for over a decade. She is attuned to the needs of the people she is seeking to represent.  Putting the concerns of taxpayers first, she will be an effective and efficient leader. As I retire, I am certain of her abilities and her commitment to the people of the House 95th District and I proudly support her as our next Delegate,” said Del. BaCote.  

In response to Delegate BaCote's endorsement, Price stated, “I am elated to have the endorsement of Delegate Mamye BaCote whose leadership I have been honored to learn from for many years.  She has worked tirelessly and cared deeply for the hard working citizens of our district.  Delegate BaCote has served us well in the House of Delegates.  I am thankful and honored to have Del. BaCote's support. If I am elected, I plan to continue the strong advocacy for educational opportunities and safer neighborhoods that she has set forth.”

Delegate BaCote has served in the House of Delegates for the 95th District since 2004.  She is retiring at the end of the year.
